New details have emerged about Gulliver’s Valley Resort, a £37 million theme park resort in South Yorkshire, set to open in spring 2020. The attraction will feature dinosaur, pirate and toy zones.

According to Teesside Live, Gulliver’s Valley Resort is set to open in spring with rides and attractions aimed at children between two and 13.

Gulliver’s Valley Resort will feature zones including Western World, Lost World, Smugglers Wharf, Toy Land and Lilliput Land.

Lost World will boast T-Rex Tower and River Tour, as well as “living, breathing, free-roaming dinosaurs”. Smuggler’s Wharf will house a Ghostly Galleon pirate ship ride.

Lilliput Land will feature a carousel, Toy Land will have a ferris wheel and fire trucks, while Western World will include Apache Falls and Desperado Drop.

The theme park will also have a Blast Area where visitors can user NERF guns to shoot targets, and Gully’s Dream Village, for children with life-threatening illnesses.

Starting from June 6, 2020, bookings are already being taken for Gulliver’s Valley Resort. Ticket prices have also been unveiled, with gate prices set at £21 and online bookings at £15.

In addition, booking is available for short breaks for summer 2020, which includes pirate and princess-themed accommodation, Wild West lodges, Western cabins and the central Lilliput Castle Hotel.

Bookings are now open for Gulliver’s Valley Resort

Gulliver’s Valley Resort, the company’s biggest venture to date, will have more than 50 rides and attractions across its various themed areas.

It will be the fourth UK theme park project for Gulliver’s Theme Parks and Resorts, which has sites in Warrington, Matlock Bath and Milton Keynes.

Construction on Gulliver’s Valley Resort started in 2018, one year after planning permission was officially confirmed. Last year, a first-look video unveiled some of Gulliver’s Valley Resort.
