Intamin, a creator of record-breaking amusement rides, has unveiled a Point-Of-View (POV) video of its latest launch coaster, “All Speeds”, in a new Chinese amusement park.
The LSM Double Launch Coaster successfully opened on 31 December 2021, making its first runs with guests at Sunac Land Chengdu in China.
The new installation is designed to make the most of the given footprint, with a fast-paced adventure utilising many unexpected turns and pops of airtime on an intertwined layout. The 1,320-metre long track reaches 30 metres (98 feet) high and is set on a relatively compact area, crossing its own path a staggering 116 times.
The coaster is powered by two impactful Linear Synchronous Motor (LSM) launches which create a top speed of 117 km/h, leaving riders almost breathless whilst whizzing through the beautifully-designed environment.
A bullish installation

Whilst this LSM Double Launch Coaster features no inversions, it more than amps up the thrill factor with two launches, a high quantity of airtime hills, bumps and humps. Combined with many direction changes and “near misses”, the coaster generates a great combination of adrenaline and fun.
Intamin has provided four sixteen-seater, themed trains for All Speeds. The state-of-the-art seats are ergonomically designed with over-the-shoulder lap bar restraints that carefully combine freedom and comfort for passengers whilst being uncompromising on guest safety.
The front car, shaped like a bull’s head, features eyes with red LED lights, creating a wilder look to engross guests in the story that they are aboard a raging bull, charging through an impressive rocky landscape, careering past ancient Chinese monuments.
An Intamin representative says: “Intamin is thankful and equally proud of having contributed to the successful addition of Sunac Land Chengdu, China.”
Earlier this month, Intamin announced the opening of the world’s first launched single-rail coaster, Big Dipper, at Luna Park, Sydney.
Last year Intamin also manufactured a new multi-dimension launch coaster for Vulcania in France, a science-themed amusement park.
