LCI Productions, a leading creator of attractions and experiences, will be showcasing its latest projects at the 2018 Asian Attractions Expo in Hong Kong next month.

The company is reporting brisk business with many new projects to share including projection mapping, water screens and an ambient AV project. Not to mention its continued and long-running association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) providing communications and AV for The Chelsea Flower Show.

To generate highly visual PR, LCI created a 3D projection mapping sequence for the exterior of Tumi’s new Covent Garden store. The content highlighted the brand qualities, as well as creating illusions, to provide an on-brand show and create a buzz around the launch of the new store.

Annabel’s private members’ club in Berkeley Square has recently been completely refurbished. The cost of the transformation is rumoured to be around £55 million. LCI was asked to create a projection mapped artwork on a feature tree, the centrepiece of the club’s Garden Room which also boasts a retractable roof.

Ambient AV – guests view forest canopy through virtual window

Water screen commissions include a show at the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas for the MIS Implants Global Conference and a screen for Robin Hill which was launched at ‘Spirit of the Orient’ in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

The company has also been developing Ambient AV features to enhance relaxing spaces. These are suitable for creating unique displays for attractions, spas, and the automobile and airline industry.

A recent example is a ceiling piece for a forest meditation space at a Center Parcs Spa in the UK. Spa guests can relax under a ‘forest canopy’ which they view through a virtual window. The sequence shows the canopy subtly alter as the light fades from day to night.

Interest in walk-through experiences is also on the rise. LCI offers a turnkey service for creating memorable walk-through installations with plenty of ‘wow’ factor. According to the company, these can feature projection mapping, water features and bespoke audio design, as well as a full range of lighting and laser effects.

Meet the LCI team at Booth 3338, in Hall 3F/3G, the 2018 Asian Attractions Expo, June 6th-8th, Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.
