Lennard Otto has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at IMG Worlds of Adventure, Dubai.
Otto will drive the strategic vision, direction and operational leadership of the world’s largest indoor theme park, slated to open early next year.
IMG’s Executive Co-Chairmen and Owners Ilyas Galadari and Mustafa Galadari described Otto as a ‘popular and experienced industry leader’ and said his formidable track record in launching large hospitality developments made him ideally suited to his new role: “His innovative leadership will ensure that the strategic positioning of IMG Worlds of Adventure is at the forefront of the themed entertainment landscape in the region for years to come.”
The 1.5 millionft² theme park will feature four themed zones: Cartoon Network, MARVEL, Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure and IMG Boulevard and has been designed to entertain more than 20, 000 guests a day.
Otto has been tasked with building the brand for the state-of-the-art, interactive theme park, ensuring high-quality service and introducing a broad scope of new retail and food & beverage concepts to cater for all tastes.
