Unlimited Leisure Holdings, provider of integrated solutions for leisure developments, and leading VR content creator Red Raion, have unveiled an immersive custom-built movie. Miko & the Spell of the Stone will debut at the Mall of Muscat by the end of 2019.
Visitors to the Mall of Muscat will enjoy the first snow-based theme park in Oman. This new venture will be located on the mall’s third floor and will include two different zones. The cold zone will entertain guests with more than 21 rides for the whole family to enjoy, including a snowball area, slides, an ice carousel, climbing walls and more. It will also feature a 4D cinema, where the 10-minute long film created by Unlimited Leisure and Red Raion will be shown.
The snow park also features a warm zone, where there will be refreshment areas such as an ice bar and an alpine cafe, as well as a reception area for guests.
The adventures of Miko
The 4D movie, created by Red Raion, follows Unlimited Leisure’s IP, Miko the marmot, as well as his family and friends. Audiences will enjoy an adventure quest set in the winter wonderland of the Alps, as Miko sets out to rescue his animal friends.
The story follows Miko after he touches a magical stone and accidentally prevents the arrival of winter. The animals who were preparing to hibernate over the cold season are in trouble, and Miko must go on a quest to save the day. This family-friendly movie will appeal to children as they root for Miko on his brave adventure.

Unlimited leisure has made Miko and friends available for licensing to other attraction operators. The company will be attending IAAPA Asia 2019 in Shanghai from the 12th-14th June and can be found at booth #3815.
Red Raion recently unveiled two new 5D/VR movies, Pinocchio – A Modern Tale and Peter Pan – Saving Tinkerbell. Red Raion will also be present at IAAPA Asia 2019, in booth #3232.
