Jeju Shinhwa World on Jeju Island in South Korea has announced the official opening of Shinhwa Theme Park.
Shinhwa Theme Parkhas three distinctly themed zones for the public to explore, including "Larva's Adventure Village", "Oscar's New World" and "Rotary Park" which will immerse visitors in the local culture through 15 rides and attractions, themed exhibits and live performances including the world's biggest 4D dome theatre.Developed in partnership with Korean animation company TUBAn,Shinhwa Theme Park will feature popular IPs including 3D animated characters such as Larva, Wingcle Bear, Buck, and Oscar.

Jeju Shinhwa World is the first premium integrated leisure and entertainment destination resort in Jeju. The 2.5 million square metres resort is being developed byLanding Jeju Development Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Landing International Development Limited. Set for an official opening in December 2017, the $1.8 billion development will comprise world-class hospitality, leisure, entertainment and gaming facilities including theme parks, an adventure water park, more than 2,000 premium hotel rooms, luxury resort condominium villas, along with cultural facilities, leisure and entertainment amenities, as well as Jeju's largest retail and food beverage complex.In August Lionsgate and Landing International announced plans for Lionsgate’s first branded outdoor theme park, Lionsgate Movie World atJeju Shinhwa World.
