SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment, the award-winning creator of immersive 3D and 4D attractions, has announced the opening of The Simpsons in 4D. Guests can now visit the famous family at Broadway on the Beach, Myrtle Beach.
SimEx-Iwerks, in partnership with FoxNext Destinations and Gracie Films, has created a unique 4D experience, bringing the cult favourite TV show to life in South Carolina. The attraction includes an authentic Kwik-E-Mart store and the iconic Aztec Theatre, making visitors feel like they have set foot in Springfield for real.
A visit to the Aztec Theatre starts with a red-carpet experience, complete with a souvenir photo. Familiar faces from the show are waiting outside the theatre, while Homer and Marge walk the red carpet. Well-known faces such as Troy McClure and Itchy and Scratchy pop up too. The family-friendly motion experience continues with a new adventure tale starring America’s most-loved TV family The Simpsons™. The special-effects filled tale is sure to delight guests of all ages.
Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart? We do!
The attraction also features a fully-themed, life-size Kwik-E-Mart, where visitors can purchase items from the show such as Lard Lad Donuts and Buzz Cola. Guests can even enjoy the six Simpsons-inspired Squishee flavours.

The attraction is open daily and tickets can be purchased from the box office. The TV show is aired around the world and has over 650 episodes to date. This makes it the longest running primetime scripted television series in the US.
