Tejix, a leading firm specialising in designing, installing, and maintaining high-end audio/video control and lighting systems, has announced the appointment of Jean-Jacques Goudard to the role of technical coordinator.
Goudard spent 25 years at Walt Disney Imagineering, contributing to the creation of many of Europe’s most beloved attractions. His extensive experience, meticulous attention to detail, and enthusiasm for immersive environments align perfectly with the Tejix spirit.
Extensive industry experience
Speaking bout his new position, Goudard says: “During my 25 years as an Imagineer, I had the privilege of contributing to the creation of some of the finest attractions in Europe. I’m proud to join Tejix and continue working on exciting new projects.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Jean-Jacques to our team,” adds Maud Czajkowski, director of Tejix France. “His expertise and on-the-ground experience are a major asset for our company.”
The founders of Tejix have been involved in the design and installation of everything that produces sounds, lights, and images in some of the world’s most visited attractions for decades. The company was founded in 2011 and has accumulated years of experience, utilising its expertise to benefit parks of all sizes.
Fully dedicated to the theme park market, the company partners with top operators to deliver memorable experiences to their guests and handles all stages of projects, from inception to crew training.
Last year, the firm was named in the credits list for the Thea-Award-winning Fantasy Springs, Tokyo DisneySea’s new themed port. Opened in June 2024, it is inspired by magical springs leading to a Disney fantasy world. It includes three areas, Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Never Land, as well as the Fantasy Springs Hotel.
Construction started in May 2019, and the $2.2 billion land is Tokyo DisneySea’s largest development to date.
