Cruise Ship Interiors opens registration for HRDS

Registration has opened for Hotel and Resort Design South (HRDS) 2024 in Miami, US. The event is taking place on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 June 2024 at the Miami Beach Convention Center and welcomes hoteliers, interior designers, specifiers, and suppliers of world-class hotels, resorts, and private island destinations.

Curated programme

HRDS delivers two days of networking, educational sessions, and product discovery to the South and LATAM hospitality sector. It has been developed by event organiser Elite Exhibitions, which specialises in producing niche events for underrepresented design communities.

The event will offer exclusive networking opportunities devoted to the hotel design community, including the opening party on Wednesday 5 June, the welcome breakfast, networking lunch, and the buyer-to-supplier speed networking sessions.

HRDS is held in conjunction with CSI Design Expo Americas (CSI), the only conference and exhibition in the world devoted to bringing together suppliers and customers in the cruise design sector. HRDS provides a meticulously crafted programme of events, such as collaborative CSI-HRDS conferences, Meet The Brand Q&As, and small-group workshops.

CSI says: “As the big six hotel brands accelerate the development of their South and LATAM presence – including Hyatt’s recent restructure of their Americas region – and with the boutique and lifestyle presence accounting for over 50% of properties in development pipelines, industry creatives need to constantly evolve their knowledge to keep ahead of an incredibly diverse and rapidly changing landscape.”

Panel at CSI Expo

This year’s product exhibition will present the latest and most interesting products from the South and LATAM regions, in addition to select vendors displaying complete collections. Together with the co-located CSI, attendees will have a chance to see over 300 exhibitors. Leading cruise brands Akula Living, Aros Marine, Belbien Architectural Finishes, SMC Design, and YSA Design will be on-site to showcase their most recent projects.

The Attractions & Entertainment Technology Zone at CSI is a must-see for anyone working in resorts or private island destinations. The zone will feature firms such as DOF Robotics, Art Attack FX, Greenspan, and others, allowing cruise lines interested in being at the forefront of the latest generation of cutting-edge guest experience to explore their vision with these experts.

Registration is now available for two-day passes to HRDS and CSI here.

Earlier this month, Cruise Ship Interiors announced that registration is now open for the 2024 CSI Design Expo Americas. The organiser invites cruise lines, shipyards, design studios, outfitters, and suppliers to join the region’s only dedicated event for cruise ship interior design.
