Energylandia, the largest theme park in Poland, is expanding its water park this year with the addition of 16 new waterslides as part of the Bamboo Bay zone.
The expansion, called Bamboo Bay, features a slide tower with six waterslides called Oasis. Each side of the tower offers four different slides, Ruba, Plum, Tiriki and Papalia.
Ruba boasts two slides on each side, taking the total new waterslides to 16. Energylandia’s water park will offer 36 water slides when Bamboo Bay opens in 2022. The water park launched back in summer 2016.
Current zones include Big Milk Water Park, Tropical Fun and Exotic Island. Big Milk Water Park includes the Big Milk Ship waterslide. Tropical Fun houses 14 waterslides, and Exotic Island has five waterslides.

Work is also underway on Energylandia’s new Sweet Valley area, which will offer eight rides and attractions. Sweet Valley will be filled with oversized confectionary such as cakes, cookies and lollipops.
Vekoma Rides, the Dutch roller coaster specialist, is providing two coasters to Sweet Valley, the family-friendly Choco Chip Creek Mine Train and Honey Harbour, a Kalypso family coaster.
Choco Chip Creek Mine Train reaches top speeds of 55 kilometres per hour and a maximum height of 16.5 metres, while Honey Harbour travels at up to 46 kilometres per hour and has a maximum gear of 2.9G.
Prior to that, Vekoma Rides provided the Abyssus coaster and a Vekoma Family Boomerang called Ekipa Light Explorers. Abyssus features several inversions, as well as airtime hills, turns and twists.
