Polin Creates Spain’s Biggest Waterpark Resort

News

Waterparks expert, Polin, has created Spain’s largest waterpark resort at The Hotel Globales, Playa Estepona in Malaga.

Splash World Waterpark opened in May and covers more than 215, 278 sq ft (20, 000 sq ms). The new attraction includes some of Polin’s most popular slides and thrill-rides including a Multi Slide, a Kamikaze, a Black Hole, two Space Holes  and an Aquatube. All have been manufactured using Polin’s RTM technology which the company claims is better for the environment and produces components that are stronger, lighter and easier to install. Some slides also feature their Natural Light Effects (NLE) technology which uses natural sunlight and the flow of water to create glowing patterns and colours on the inside of the slide.

Kids are catered for, too, with Polin's B6 Type Water Play Structure which incorporates fun elements such as tipping buckets, slides, net climbs and water cannons. They also have their own set of slides: an Octopus Slide, a Mini Pirate Slide, a Rabbit Slide and a Mushroom.

The new attraction reflects a growing trend by resorts in recognising the benefits of providing a safe waterplay environment for families.

The resort's owner, José Luis Carrillo, explains that guests can find everything they need to keep them entertained without ever leaving the resort. "We are the highest quality resort in Spain, but we want to continually be improving and always offering our guests the most relaxing, fun experience for their holiday travels, " he says. "The waterpark attractions at Splash World do exactly that. And, guests have already told us that the new slides have truly made their visits memorable."
