Royal Caribbean is opening a new island destination called Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas in December 2025.
The 17-acre beach club on the western end of Paradise Island will offer pristine beaches, pools, the world’s largest swim-up bar, seven beach bars, more than 40 cabanas, and experiences featuring Bahamian artists.
The attraction is the first location in Royal Caribbean’s new Royal Beach Club Collection, which is “designed for every type of family and vacationer to get everything they want out of their ideal beach day – no matter the vibe they’re looking for”, said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International.
“With the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, we continue to super-serve our guests with a tailored experience at one of our most highly visited destinations, building on nearly five decades of collaboration with the community and government of the Bahamas,” he added.
The site is divided into three zones – Family Beach, Chill Beach and Party Cove. As above, it will be developed and operated in partnership with the Bahamian government.
Royal Caribbean cruise ships will visit the beach club on Paradise Island from six US ports: Baltimore, Cape Liberty (New York), New Jersey, Galveston (Texas), Fort Lauderdale (Miami), and Port Canaveral (Orlando).
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is part of an expansion of the cruise company‘s land-based destinations, which includes Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
Icon class fleet expansion continues
Additionally, Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico will join the Royal Beach Club Collection in 2026, and Royal Caribbean will debut Perfect Day Mexico in 2027.
In more news, Royal Caribbean’s expansion of its Icon class fleet continues, with construction on its third ship in the lineup now underway.
The expansion began with this year’s debut of Icon of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship with the largest water park at sea.
This will be followed by Star of the Seas, which is set to sail from summer 2025.
