Vortex Aquatic Structures International, a world leader in aquatic play landscapes and entertainment solutions, has opened the first European Vortex offices in Paris and Lyon.
Commenting on the news, Stephen Hamelin, president, Vortex International, said, “Vortex has been present in France for more than 15 years. By opening country-specific offices we are able to better service our customers and respond to local market needs, including regulatory requirements.”
General Manager of the new offices, Gilbert Mathot, previously led Pro Urba, a long-standing Vortex distributor, who will continue to work with Vortex. In addition six full time employees will provide full sales, technical, design and customer support to the growing French market for aquatic play structures. A full installation team are also on hand to provide turnkey solutions.
Mathot said, “We are excited by the evolution of Vortex’s presence in France. We see lots of growth potential for aquatic play and with this investment and commitment Vortex will be poised to address this demand.”
