Vortex Aquatic Structures International has reinforced its growing presence in Europe with the opening of a third European office in Valencia, Spain.
Vortex, a leading manufacturer of aquatic play landscapes and entertainment solutions, recently announced the expansion of the company’s manufacturing facilities at its headquarters in Montreal. Vortex supports its growing customer base worldwide with regional sales and technical support offices in California, Michigan, Texas, Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, Beijing, and now Valencia.
The new office will provide full sales, technical and customer support functions, offering customers design assistance, solutions development and access to the Vortex portfolio of innovative water play products and solutions, including Splashpad®, Poolplay™, Spraypoint™ and Water Journey™.
The Valencia office will be led by Rafa Sánchez, Business Development Manager for Spain, who has six years’ experience as a product specialist and commercial project manager for a Vortex distributor.
Commenting on the announcement, Stephen Hamelin, president of Vortex International, said, “Over the years, Rafa has developed close relationships with key players in the Spanish market. These connections will contribute to our strategy for this market segment.
