Arkansas' Magic Springs Shifts Ownership Dec. 1

From December 1st, Magic Springs & Crystal Falls Water and Theme Park will have a different owner, EPR Properties.

Steve Honeycutt, GM of the park saidthe property had been bought from its current owner, CNL Lifestyle Properties Inc.Currentlyrun by Amusement Management Partners, the attraction, based 50 miles out of Little Rock, Arkansas, will in future beoperated by Premier Parks.


The acquisitionforms part of a $700 million investment in the leisure sector by EPR Properties. Thisincludes the purchases of Northstar California Ski Resort, 15 amusement and water parksandfive small entertainment centers.

The park's staffwill carry onin their current roleswith the same rate of pay.

"It's really business as usual.We'll just have more resources available to us, and I'll just run the park like I always have, "Honeycutt said.

EPR Properties President and CEOGregory Silverssaid, "We are extremely pleased to announce this transaction, which is the culmination of a two-year process of disciplined underwriting, due diligence and negotiations."
