WhiteWater have announced the sale of the first version of Slideboarding to Village Road Show and Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas for the 2015 season.
Slideboarding is an innovation from WhiteWater that combines gaming with waterslides.
The Slideboard is a state-of-the art ride vehicle together with an S3 embedded game controller and can be retrofitted onto existing waterslides or incorporated into new attractions.
Riders grip the game controller vehicle and travel down through the slide’s atmospheric light show tapping buttons to hit sensor-activated targets.
A smart gaming system recognises riders and adapts the game as performance improves, creating more challenging experiences.
The rider’s progress is tracked and scores posted on the Scoreboards, home app and Slideboarding Website.
WhiteWater will present a preview of Slideboarding at this year’s World Waterpark Association party on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm, at the Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas site and at the European and Orlando based IAAPA trade shows.
