Overview:

Zero Latency is a global leader in free-roam VR entertainment, with a network of more than 150 arenas worldwide. Founded in Melbourne in 2015, the company has helped establish large-scale, multiplayer VR as a proven location-based entertainment format.

Its technology allows up to eight players to move freely together through expansive virtual environments, without cables or backpacks. The system is designed for social play and can be incorporated into FECs, competitive socialising venues, karting centres and other leisure destinations, as well as operating as a standalone attraction.

Working with leading entertainment operators

Zero Latency works with some of the world's largest location-based entertainment operators, demonstrating how free-roam VR can sit within a wide range of leisure concepts and markets.

Its operator network includes Family Entertainment Group (FEG) in the US, Funlab, Seef Entertainment in Bahrain, MGM and SpeedPark. These partnerships place Zero Latency alongside established operators managing high-volume entertainment destinations and multi-attraction venues around the world.

The company works with partners from initial planning and installation through to launch and ongoing operation. Its turnkey model brings together hardware, software and content alongside staff training, marketing resources, operational guidance, analytics and 24/7 technical support.

Free-roam VR content

A key part of the platform is Zero Latency's expanding VR experience library, which combines original titles with experiences based on major entertainment and gaming IP.

The portfolio includes cooperative adventures, zombie survival, competitive gameplay and experiences suitable for wider family audiences. Zero Latency has collaborated with companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment, Ubisoft, Games Workshop and CD PROJEKT RED, bringing properties such as Jumanji, Far Cry, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and Cyberpunk 2077 into free-roam VR.

Titles are developed specifically for Zero Latency's arenas, allowing groups to physically explore large virtual environments together rather than remaining in individual play areas. New titles and updates also give operators opportunities to refresh their offer and encourage repeat visits.

A flexible attraction for LBE venues

Zero Latency's system can operate as a standalone attraction or form part of a broader entertainment mix. Its Quantum VR arena provides operators with a prefabricated, configurable solution designed to simplify deployment while making effective use of venue floorspace.

The model is aimed at entertainment businesses looking for a premium immersive experience that can complement attractions such as bowling, karting, arcade games and competitive socialising.

From its beginnings with a single Melbourne arena, Zero Latency has developed into an international VR network supported by a growing community of location-based entertainment operators.
