ART Engineering, an amusement ride manufacturer that develops roller coasters, dark rides, carousels, water rides and more, has launched Adventure Coaster. This new roller coaster concept blends dynamic ride mechanics with immersive storytelling.
The new ride can already be seen in action at Legoland Florida Resort and Legoland California Resort, where it opened earlier this year as Galacticoaster, an experience designed for families to enjoy together.
Building on ART Engineering’s successful Primordial coaster technology, the Adventure Coaster elevates the experience with synchronised movements, interactive features, and immersive themed environments.

A key highlight is the custom-designed ride vehicles, which accommodate four guests side by side in a single row. These vehicles feature controlled rotation, allowing them to dynamically align with show scenes, media, and set pieces throughout the ride.
The coordinated motion offers an immersive journey where ride movement and storytelling blend seamlessly.
Furthermore, the rotating vehicle system enables smooth transitions into reverse at any point, eliminating the need for traditional track switches and supporting a more fluid, space-efficient layout.

The new Galacticoasters have launched at Legoland Florida and California as part of Merlin's £70 million ($94m) investment in two US parks, including the introduction of a new themed land, Lego Galaxy. It is Merlin's most technologically advanced coaster to date.
