News

The special events division of the Cirque Du Soleil has expanded to become 45 Degrees. The new company will continue to produce Cirque du Soleil special events, as well as offering new forms of experiential creative content.

Yasmine Khalil, President of 45 Degrees, said, “We have access to extraordinary live performance talent from around the world – from acrobatics to new forms of artistry and technology – which allow us to create and deliver truly unique entertainment experiences.”

The Special Events team has been working globally in both the public and private sectors for the past ten years. Notable productions include the launches for Microsoft Kinect, Fiat Bravo and McLaren F1, as well as two Academy Awards performances, two Super Bowl appearances, the World Expo Shanghai Pavilion, Expo Zaragoza and several outdoor festivals in Canada, Italy, Andorra and Russia.

The 45 Degrees team is already busy on the production of several major contracts worldwide including Cirque du Soleil’s first permanent cabaret dinner show, JOYÀ, in Mexico and the 2015 Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony in Toronto. Their latest production, the 2015 Expo Milan outdoor show ALLAVITA has just been announced at the official Expo Milan press conference.
