Top trending US attractions Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry is the “hottest” attraction in the US this spring, according to a report from TripAdvisor. The Nashville music hall and 24 other attractions have been rated based on year-over-year search activity on the travel review website.

“This spring US travellers have shown increased interest in nature and parks as well as sights and landmarks,” notes TripAdvisor’s Brooke Ferencsik.

The top 25 trending destinations and attractions in the United States this spring as per the TripAdvisor Seasonal Attractions Trend Index are as follows:

1) The Grand Ole Opry, Nashville, Tennessee (110% increase in interest)

2) New York Tour1, New York City, New York (up 73%)

3) Washington DC Essential Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, Colombia (up 65%)

4) Kualoa, Kaneohe, Hawaii (up 65%)

5) High Roller, Las Vegas, Nevada (up 50%)

6) Grand Canyon South Rim, Arizona (up 49%)

7) Antelope Canyon, Page, Arizona (up 45%)

8) Disney California Adventure Park, Anaheim (up 44%)

9) Havasu Falls, Supai, Arizona (up 42%)

10) Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, (up 42%)

11) Beale Street Memphis, Tennessee (up 41%)

12) San Diego Zoo, California (up 37%)

13) Hersheypark, Pennsylvania (up 37%)

14) Mount Soledad, California (up 35%)

15) Magnolia Market at the Silos, Waco, Texas (up 32%)

16) Old Town Trolley Tours of Washington DC (up 31%)

17) Heard Museum, Phoenix, Arizona (up 27%)

18) National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis, Tennessee (up 27%)

The Attractions Trend Index rankings were determined based on the percent increase in search sessions on TripAdvisor for US travellers between the period of March 1 and April 16 in 2106 and 2017. Attractions were required to have at least 20,000 sessions in 2016 with at least four out of five “bubbles” on TripAdvisor to qualify.
