Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, has revealed its new Christie XP Series LED, developed for environments where image accuracy and operational reliability are essential.

Supported by an industry-leading 10-year warranty, the new series helps clients deliver extraordinary image quality, dependable operation, and efficient long-term ownership in settings such as government installations, immersive entertainment spaces, and mission-critical operations.

Precise, robust performance

The fully integrated platform is driven by Christie VividLife and offers lifelike colour reproduction, sophisticated grayscale performance, intelligent processing, and versatile deployment options to deliver consistently precise, high-impact visuals.

Mike Bernhardt, director, product management, Christie, says: "Christie XP Series LED is designed for customers who need precise visual fidelity and reliable performance in environments where operational standards can’t be compromised.

"From control rooms to theme parks and attractions, XP Series LED delivers the image fidelity and operational confidence needed to create clear, engaging visual experiences."

The Christie XP Series LED offers vivid P3 colour reproduction and a 7,680 Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth, flicker-free visuals that deliver sharp images for both fast-moving content and extended viewing periods.

Thanks to flip-chip technology, this strong visual performance can be achieved while reducing energy consumption, thus lowering the total cost of ownership over the life of the installation.

Furthermore, with Christie VividLife, the platform supports cutting-edge low-brightness rendering, exact grayscale control, and colour and brightness uniformity across the display. This helps maintain clear, consistent imagery in environments that are both brightly lit and low-light.

Both flat and curved installations are supported by the new series, which offers a range of pixel pitches from 0.9 mm to 3.8 mm. The TAA-compliant platform gives clients the versatility to customise displays to a wide variety of spaces and applications while meeting procurement requirements for government and other regulated environments.

Earlier this week, Christie shared how its laser projectors are being deployed at a new immersive water show marking the 900th anniversary of the birth of acclaimed Southern Song Dynasty poet Lu You.
