CSI Americas

CSI Americas connects the cruise interiors supply chain with the most prestigious cruise lines, designers, and shipyards. With a carefully curated programme, it promises to be the year's most relevant conference for US-based cruise ship interiors professionals.

The 2026 lineup boasts speakers from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Virgin Voyages, Holland America Line and Regent Seven Seas.

They will discuss topics ranging from adapting cruise interiors for land-based resorts to designing for sustainability, new technologies driving the sector to work smarter, and the growing refurbishment market in the US.

Sessions include Design mega trends: The Why behind design for meaningful cruise experiences, which will share how leading creative and operational minds craft deep, authentic visitor experiences that go beyond an Instagrammable moment.

In How to Work Smarter, a panel moderated by Alix Loiseau, director of virtual design and construction at Royal Caribbean, will present perspectives on contemporary project management. This will include new approaches to the design and delivery of cruise interiors, as well as new technologies and workflows that ensure efficient project execution.

Meanwhile, the panel session Refurbishment, Modernization and Expansion will feature speakers Lisa McCabe, VP hotel refurbishment at Carnival Cruise Line; Joseph Miorelli, associate VP newbuild, revitalization and technical project at Royal Caribbean; and Chris Earl, CEO at Grand Bahamas Shipyard.

This fast-paced area of the sector is booming. As the Grand Bahamas Shipyard launched two new piers in the last year, refurbishment and modernisation projects for U-based ships are set to evolve significantly in the coming years.

This year, a new track offers content for those looking to explore pure interior design topics. In addition to the content schedule, delegates can experience The Design Deck, a focused activation featuring new case studies from SMC Design, YSA Design, Tillberg Design of Sweden, and JOI-Design.

Attendees can also support their business’s sustainability goals through educational content and show-floor features, including the new Sustainable Materials Library, which is supported by Cruise & Ferry Interiors.

This year, the Sustainable Design Summit (SDS) is titled Breaking the cycle: How designers’ impact measurable sustainable outcomes, with contributions from Marriott International, Holland America Line, Brightmark, and Carnegie Textiles.

In an interactive session, small groups will workshop what it means to design an innovative, eco-friendly space from beginning to end, resulting in a set of guidelines which establish the guardrails and inspiration for sustainable products and circular design.

HRDS 2026

The co-located HRDS conference is tailored to the specific needs of those involved in designing world-class hotels, resorts, and private island destinations in the Southern States, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Through panel discussions, collaborative working groups, Lunch & Learns, firesides, and case studies, the conference will share insights, analysis, and trend predictions from leaders making an impact across hospitality’s fastest-growing regions.

In The role of branding: from design vision through operations & storytelling, representatives from The Parker Company, Experiential Hospitality, The Loren Hotels, Marriott International and Studio Curioso will examine how branding impacts decisions in development, design, purchasing and operations.
