Falcon’s Creative Group, a global leader in entertainment experience design and a division of Falcon’s Beyond Global, Inc., has won a 2026 World Waterpark Association (WWA) Leading Edge Award for its creative leadership on Aquarabia, Saudi Arabia’s first and largest water theme park in Qiddiya City.
The WWA Leading Edge Award celebrates innovation in the water attractions industry, recognising the creation of new themes, facilities, programs, services, and operational approaches. It also recognises suppliers whose ideas, products, and services have advanced the industry and elevated the guest experience.
In close partnership with Qiddiya Investment Company, Falcon’s played a central role in bringing Aquarabia to life, from initial concept development through final creative execution.
Falcon’s led the park’s master planning and attraction design, shaped its experiential vision and original intellectual property, and provided creative oversight throughout the project.
A new water park experience
Covering more than 250,000 square meters, Aquarabia brings together eight immersive themed zones and 22 attractions. Its record-breaking rides, adventure sports, and family-friendly experiences create a cohesive, story-led destination that raises the bar for water-based entertainment.

“Aquarabia is the result of years of bold thinking, close collaboration, and a shared creative vision,” says Cecil D. Magpuri, CEO of Falcon’s Beyond.
“We are honored to receive this award and proud of Falcon’s role in shaping the destination from master planning and attraction design to developing the park’s experiential vision and original intellectual property.
"Congratulations to Qiddiya Investment Company and the entire Aquarabia team on this well-deserved recognition.”
Falcon celebrates this award alongside Qiddiya Investment Company, Endless Surf, Life Floor, Sub Sea Systems, Inc., WTI, and WhiteWater.
Last year, the company announced Mitchell Magill's appointment as president. In this role, he will lead strategic, creative, and operational efforts to drive growth and innovation in planning, developing, and executing themed experiences and destination projects worldwide.
