An EOI has been issued seeking a development partner or consortia to work on the evolution of the Dinosaur Isle Museum in Sandown, Isle of Wight.

The work forms part of the regeneration programme for the Island.

The EOI has been issued by the Isle of Wight Council.  The goal of the redevelopment of the Dinosaur Isle Museum is to transform it into a “nationally important visitor attraction while further developing its role as a world-class scientific resource and an important regional educational centre”.

There will be opportunities for “specialist investors, developers, suppliers and operators”.

IWC seeks “feedback from interested parties on our ideas for the future of the accredited museum and how best to structure the partner selection process. Interested parties of all types (e.g. developers, operators, suppliers) from all sectors (public, private, voluntary) who may be interested in leading, or playing a major role in a future bid are invited to submit feedback to help shape our proposals”.

A short questionnaire (see link) should be submitted by 5pm on Monday 30th of October.

An information event will be held at the museum on Tuesday 17th October 2017 via https://dinosaur-isle-soft-market-test.eventbrite.com .
