To mark this week's solar eclipse, Eden Project Morecambe has released a new CGI image of one of its immersive experiences, called 'Realm of the Moon'.
Realm of the Moon is described as an indoor theatrical world inspired by the tides, lunar cycles and ecology of Morecambe Bay.
At the heart of the attraction is the Tidal Theatre, an immersive space where shallow water will ebb and flow around visitors' feet as the rhythms of the bay come to life through media, performance, puppetry, lighting, sound and special effects.

Andy Jasper, the Eden Project's CEO, said: “The eclipse this week is a powerful reminder that we live in rhythm with the sun and moon, marking a powerful transition and renewal even if we do not always stop to notice it.
“The Realm of the Moon will take that idea and make it unforgettable. Visitors will feel the tide rise around them, see moonlight reflected in real water and experience the extraordinary life of Morecambe Bay through spectacle, performance and play.

Alongside Realm of the Moon will be Realm of the Sun, which will feature a 20-metre immersive exhibit that celebrates the power of sunlight.

Together, these two realms will form the heart of Eden Project Morecambe's visitor experience.
“This new image gives a first glimpse of what we are creating: a magical, immersive theatre that is rooted in the ecology, culture and stories of the bay, and designed to inspire people of all ages to see the natural world differently," said Jasper.
In more news, construction is starting this month on Eden Project Morecambe's Bring Me Sunshine Garden, a free, 1.5-acre community garden.
Work on the new attraction's shell-inspired superstructures will start in winter 2026.
