Culture Break Season 3 Lineup

First episode

The first episode of this series will feature a key figure from the National Urban League. Lord US president Joy Bailey-Bryant talks to president and chief executive officer Marc H. Morial, about the origins of the historic civil rights and urban advocacy organization, how the National Urban League Museum concept has evolved, and what makes it unique.

Listeners can also find out more about the Urban League Empowerment Center – the new home for this organisation and one of the most significant economic development projects to take place in Harlem in recent times.

Morial says: “As an organisation with so much legacy and history [we asked ourselves] how can we think of new ways to tell our story? A museum is a platform to educate, and that is what we intend to do.”

The series premiere will debut today (Friday 24 June) at 12 pm ET on the Lord Cultural Resources YouTube channel.
