Tiqets Webinar Sustainable Museums and Attractions

Event includes insights from leading attractions such as the Rijksmuseum and the Empire State Building

Tiqets, a leading booking partner for museums and attractions, has announced that it is marking Earth Day on 21 April 2021 with a special webinar on sustainability. The event, which is at 16:30 CEST, will see five museums and attractions from around the world come together to share insights on sustainability and responsible tourism.

Sustainable tourism is an important topic and one which both visitors and operators are increasingly prioritising. In fact, 87% of travellers now say that travelling responsibly is important to them.

Leading museums explore sustainability

During the virtual event, speakers from iconic attractions such as the Rijksmuseum and the Empire State Building will discuss their best practices and key ways to become a more sustainable organisation, from operational measures to educational exhibits.

Speakers include Karen Keeman, Head of Facilities at the Rijkmuseum; Dana Schneider, Executive Vice President, Director of Energy, Sustainability & ESG at the Empire State Building; Céline Marchand, Head of International Relations at Paris Musées; David Tombolato, Curator at MUSE Trento and Elias Nillson, CEO/Manager at EcoSightseeing.

The webinar is free to attend, and those registered can also view the recording afterwards at a time convenient to them. To find out more information and to sign up for a place, please click here.
