Hong Kong Disneyland has introduced flexible weather adaptation measures in response to the increasingly unpredictable summer weather in Hong Kong.
Via a press release, during the summer months, Hong Kong experiences periods of extreme heat, high humidity and occasional rain showers and thunderstorms.
To adapt to changing weather conditions, the theme park has introduced measures such as cooling facilities, shaded rest areas and ticket offers to enhance the guest experience.
Hong Kong Disneyland has added energy-efficient fans to its entrances and ticketing areas, while upgraded axial fans enhance airflow in queuing zones.

The park now features around 860 fans, with mobile units deployed flexibly where they are needed most, and portable air-conditioning units added in select outdoor zones.
Mist cooling systems are also available at multiple outdoor locations, while additional shade structures have been introduced to queuing and dining areas.
More than 40 free water dispensers are provided across the resort, with nearly half already upgraded to dispense water 50 percent faster.
In addition, Hong Kong Disneyland has introduced a 4pm ticket offer for Hong Kong residents, who can enjoy the theme park from 4pm onwards, with prices starting at HK$480 ($61).
Guests are also encouraged to stay hydrated and explore the resort's selection of indoor attractions and entertainment offerings during the hottest hours of the day.
Changing weather conditions
The park's new 'Pixar Summer Fest' includes the 'Pixar Water Play Street Party', an interactive experience where guests are cooled down by water cannons, squirting hoses and floats.
To support its cast members, Hong Kong Disneyland provides additional rest breaks, extra hydration and access to cooling facilities during periods of extreme heat and humidity.
Disney Ambassadors also distribute electrolyte drink powder and chilled water bottles to frontline cast members working in outdoor areas.
Earlier this year, Disney launched a new app to give guests accurate weather forecasts across Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California.
