It's overwhelming to think about climate risk on your own. So watch the People’s Emergency Briefing with the blooloop community. Join us to learn the actual facts and hear radical optimism from leading scientists and experts.
Business-as-usual simply won't cut it for the changes we will experience due to the warming climate.
Already this year in the UK, we have seen record-breaking May temperatures. Heatwaves in Europe are intensifying faster than anywhere in the world (and much faster than climate models predict), and we are seeing more severe wildfires and floods that stretch emergency services.
These weather extremes will have significant impacts on UK visitor attractions.
About the People’s Emergency Briefing
In November 2025, ten of the UK’s leading experts briefed an invited audience of over 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media in Westminster.
The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy.
The People's Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute film featuring key points, along with public reactions and discussion from some familiar faces.
blooloop has special permission to show the film online to the visitor attractions community so that we can understand the risks AND the enormous benefits of moving from climate anxiety to action.
Watch with blooloop to feel optimistic about confronting the challenge with your peers and to see a pathway to a better future.
What people say after watching the People’s Emergency Briefing
What makes this film unique is how people feel after watching it.
Instead of walking away panicked, audiences have reported feeling a profound sense of relief. Why? Because understanding the facts and clearly naming the problem allows us to face it together.
Knowledge is power. We can't begin to create solutions for risks we don't understand. But alongside the challenges ahead, there are also significant benefits available to us if we act together.
This film is hard-hitting at times, but it isn't about sowing fear; it's about hope and empowerment for our community.
Not looking at the issue is not a rational business strategy!
Really great, really informative, really scary. The more people that see this, the better to understand truly what’s going on, and see if they can start taking action, because we all feel powerless.
Graham MacVoy, CEO, Wake The Tiger
We need to take this seriously!! … brilliant and action-provoking … The realities but also the huge opportunities.
