Brogent Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of media-based attractions, has announced that it will provide its premium immersive virtual racing experience with 6DOF motion to Doha Quest, the largest indoor theme park in Qatar.
The state-of-the-art racing simulator immerses guests in a thrilling racing environment thanks to its sleek formula car-shaped chassis and expertly designed package with four large screens. The cutting-edge air blower system increases the sensation of realism by adjusting wind volume in tandem with the car’s speed, while the modern 6DOF motion platforms allow for fluid movement in six different directions.
Each motion is painstakingly engineered to produce exact motion and force feedback, recreating the authentic racing feeling felt on a professional circuit.
Interactive real-time racing
Now thrill-seekers can share the race’s thrills with their friends. The multiplayer racing experience offered by Brogent allows up to four racers to compete against one another. Giant screens, speakers, and an AI live-streaming system draw in the audience and tempt them to participate in the action.
This immersive virtual racing experience encourages motorsport and esports fans to leave their homes, in contrast to typical online esports sim-racing where racers are restricted to their own computers and setups. Participants will feel as though they are racing on a real race track, regardless of the weather, thanks to cutting-edge AI live broadcasting technology and advanced real-time motion feedback.
C.H. Ouyang, CEO and chairman of Brogent Technologies, says: “As a passionate sports car enthusiast, I am thrilled to announce that Brogent is taking our 6-DOF motion platform and patented motion programming from our flying theaters and transforming it into an interactive real-time virtual racing experience.
“By integrating it with the immersive 4D effect of the wind blower and AI live broadcasting system, we are taking a significant step forward in the world of sim racing. I am delighted to bring this experience to Doha Quest, one of the most iconic indoor theme parks.”
A truly immersive experience
Heiko Engels, general manager of Doha Oasis Quest adds:
“At Quest, we are always striving to bring our visitors the latest and most innovative adventures. We continuously look for new ways to push the boundaries of entertainment and offer our visitors unforgettable experiences. Hence, why we are thrilled to partner with Brogent Technologies, with its cutting-edge 6DoF motion technology. The simulator delivers a truly immersive racing experience that will make guests feel like they’re actually behind the wheel of a high-speed race car.”
“We are confident that this world-class attraction will be a favorite among our guests and look forward to seeing the excitement it will bring.”
The racing simulator will be available to guests at Doha Quest by the end of 2023.
Last year, Brogent Technologies announced a new partnership with Hockenheimring, creating an immersive virtual racing experience inside the track’s new Welcome Center. The 6-DOF simulator provides a realistic activity for guests to the renowned racing venue, delivering an experience closely matched to that felt by professionals.
