Raven Sun Creative’s Louis Alfieri to speak at Casino Esports Conference

CEC 2021 Raven Sun Creative

Alfieri will moderate one panel discussion and participate in two others

Raven Sun Creative, the transformational experience firm, will be taking part in three panels at the upcoming Casino Esports Conference (CEC), held from 6 – 7 October in Las Vegas. The event will feature a number of expert speakers from across the industry, and Louis Alfieri, the company’s principal and chief creative officer will contribute to two panels as a participant, and to a third as a moderator.

This two-day event aims to connect the esports and video gaming industries to the casino, cinema and collegiate worlds, as well as linking them directly to esports players, marketers, developers, products, services, event providers, lawyers and educators. It will help to facilitate the infrastructure for all these establishments as they begin their involvement in the growing esports trend.

Exploring game engines and more

“Once people begin to understand the complete range of opportunities game engines offer, all forms of design, storytelling, creative expression, and production will be radically transformed forever,” says Alfieri.  Thanks to his experience working with global brands to lead, design, and build experiential entertainment destinations, as well as mixed-use developments, immersive media-based attractions, retail locations, cultural sites, and experiential events, he brings a new perspective to the table.

On 6 October at 4 pm, Alfieri will moderate a session called ‘Beyond esport tournaments: focusing-in on the brick and mortar casino and Immersive Experience’. This will explore how technology and immersive experiences can enhance a venue.

Then, on 7 October, he will be a panellist during a discussion on AI at 10 am, looking at Google’s Deep Mind and how AI can help the gaming business as well as helping casino operators. This will be followed by a session at 11 am on AR/VR and MX. As a panellist for this discussion, Alfieri will help to explore how the metaverse can change gaming, and how AR/VR and MX can enhance online gambling and esports.

Alfieri is a frequent contributor to a number of industry publications, including writing for blooloop, and also speaks at themed entertainment events, such as IAAPA, SATE and MAPIC conferences. He serves on the board of advisors for the Cornwall Museum Partnership and the global LeisurUp show.

Earlier this year, Raven Sun Creative announced the launch of its new online experience for clients and industry peers.
