Ropes Courses Incorporated, a leading adventure attractions company, has announced it will be heading to this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) annual real estate conference (RECon) in Las Vegas, alongside LiggettVille.

Around 40,000 retail industry professionals will be attending RECon when it takes places from 20th – 22nd MAy in the Las Vegas Convention Centre. Among them will be RCI and LiggettVille. RCI has been making waves in the retailtainment business, with installations of its Sky Trail courses in a series of retail areas. LiggettVille is another venture by RCI owners, Jim and Michelle Liggett. The company owns and operates FECs within retail areas such as malls and city centres.

LiggettVille logoLiggettVille is dedicated to creating an entertainment space for retail facilities. The company acts as both owner and operator and is responsible for managing employees and course safety. This means that FEC owners enjoy the integration of LiggettVille attractions without the stress of running them. The company’s attractions help FECs and retail areas enjoy increased foot traffic and dwell time, as well as making the most of any unused space.

“For each property, we consider the given space and square footage available and based on the surroundings, flow of people, etc., we maximize the WOW factor to transform these spaces into unforgettable attractions,” says Michelle Liggett, co-founder of LiggettVille.

Retailtainment

LiggettVille offers three models – MegaVille, GigaVille and TeraVille. These are different sizes and include different collections of adventure products. For example, MegaVille is the smallest model available and features a Sky Trail aerial attraction with Sky Rail as well as a kid-friendly Sky Tykes attraction with its very own Sky Rail.

Well-known clients of LiggettVille include Jordan’s Furniture and Allegan Event, an old warehouse turned family entertainment centre in Allegan, Michigan.

“Our goal at RECon this year is to make those in the industry aware of our speciality, experience and why a LiggettVille attraction would be an amazing asset to them” added Liggett.

RCI is attending RECon for the third year in a row, to discuss innovative retailtainment solutions with retail developers. RCI attractions have already been installed in popular retail locations such as the Mall of America.

“RCI is ready to dive deeper into the world of retail and offer businesses of this nature the adventure products that their guests will love,” said Jon Weston, chief sales officer for RCI. “We are pleased to share the booth with LiggettVille as both our companies share a similar goal of helping facilities diversify their offerings while also thrilling their guests.”

RCI recently installed Sky Trail attractions in Puerto Rico’s Outlet 66 mall and LuLu’s restaurant in North Myrtle Beach.

Both companies will be stationed in booth #N1337 during the event.
