The Nightmare Before Christmas will be shown on select dates through 29 December.

AREA15, Las Vegas’ immersive art and entertainment district, is celebrating the holiday season with an enhanced screening of Tim Burton‘s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Kicking off today (24 November) in time for Thanksgiving, the projection-mapped experience takes place within the 360-degree Portal attraction.

Per a release, the 1993 Christmas classic is enhanced with choreographed light and sound elements synced to the film. The Nightmare Before Christmas will be shown on select dates and times through 29 December.

Each adult ticket purchase includes a cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage inspired by iconic scenes from the movie. Additional beverages and themed souvenirs are also available to buy during every show.

AREA15 is home to myriad attractions, events, installations and experiences. These include Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, Illuminarium, and Wink World: Portals Into the Infinite.

The entertainment complex recently opened its latest immersive art experience, a Georgia O’Keeffe attraction that comes after similar Van Gogh and Klimt offerings.

AREA15 is also transforming a Boeing 747 jumbo jet into a new experience. “We are incredibly excited about the immeasurable creative opportunities that come with repurposing this 747 jet,” said Winston Fisher, CEO of AREA15.

“The acquisition and remodeling of this plane closely follows our mission at AREA15 of building an emotional connection for visitors through art, entertainment, and experiences,” Fisher added.

AREA15 opened in Las Vegas in September 2020. It is launching in Orlando in 2024.

Elsewhere, Christmas is arriving at Disney’s theme parks across the world. The festivities include trees, garlands, twinkling lights, fireworks and seasonal F&B.
