AREA15 has announced its first licensed pop-up experience at Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season, an annual art and culture festival running through March 2023.
In addition to the pop-up in Boulevard World in Riyadh, AREA15 has a permanent location in Las Vegas and another facility opening in Orlando, Florida.
AREA15 in Riyadh was built by the SELA Corporation, AREA15’s first international licensee. It is home to attractions and experiences including Wink World, Dueling Axes, Museum Fiasco, Birdly Virtual Reality and Particle Quest AR.
It also features the Oddwood Bar, Wild Muse Boutique and the Portal, a 360-degree projection-mapped event venue.

Artworks on offer include Bart Kresa Studio’s ‘Sviatovid’, Tyler Fuqua’s ‘Mechan X’, Davis McCarty’s ‘Pulse Portal’, and Alchemy Arts’ ‘Omah’.
“With AREA15, we established a new paradigm demonstrating how irresistible an art-filled destination built entirely to inspire, amaze and entertain could be,” said Winston Fisher, chief executive officer at AREA15.
“Licensing allows us to introduce these singularly creative spaces to new legions of the curious and culturally adventurous – and do so in locations where nothing remotely comparable has ever been seen.
“It’s an extraordinary opportunity for us to shine the AREA15 light on different parts of the world.”
AREA15 announces licensing programme
Per a press release, AREA15 is working to open smaller regional attractions and experiences through licensing and other partnerships.
“We want to find partners who share our passion for bringing a guest from spectator to participant through new forms of immersive art and experiential entertainment,” added Fisher.
“Our relentless focus on curating the best immersive experiences from around the globe provides us with a scalable, world-class offering that can be enjoyed by billions, regardless of cultural background or physical location.”
AREA15 in Las Vegas is currently celebrating the holiday season with an immersive screening of Tim Burton‘s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
