MAPIC finalists 2023

Categories for the awards, celebrating excellence in the retail real estate sector, include Leisure Concept of the Year, which saw 19 projects submitted

RX France, the organiser of MAPIC, has revealed the shortlisted projects for this year’s MAPIC Awards, which celebrate excellence, innovation, and creativity in the retail real estate sector. The winners will be announced during a special awards ceremony and gala dinner on 29 November 2023.

The annual awards programme recognises the best retail brand performance and development, the newest innovative and sustainable solutions, and the most significant recent real estate projects and redevelopment.

In keeping with this year’s theme, “The Age of Responsible Growth,” the awards seek to identify iconic initiatives and market leaders that prioritise environmental protection and community well-being. This year, there are thirteen reinvigorated categories, which consist of five new and eight existing categories, designed to recognise the most impactful and innovative concepts, development projects, and regeneration initiatives worldwide.

In terms of the leisure and attractions sector, this year the team received 19 projects in competition for the Leisure Concept of the Year category. This category rewards the best leisure concepts for their originality and exceptional performances over the past 12 months.
