PortAventura: leading the way through dialogue

Fernández holds a Diploma in Business and a degree in Economics. After having developed her
career for 12 years at the multinational BASF, where she held different positions related to
logistics and supply chain; she joined PortAventura World in 2007.

She has been leading operational areas as Procurement and Logistics for 15 years. Since
2008 she has developed and implemented the company Sustainability strategy and in 2023,
she moved from operational to commercial, and she is leading a newly created Customer
department, to steer PortAventura World towards becoming a more customer-centric
company aligned with the Purpose driven company. The most significant milestone has
been driving the company to achieve the B Corp Certification.

As chief sustainability officer, she reports to the CEO and participates in the Board of
Directors. Additionally, she is currently the delegate for Catalonia at DIRSE, the Spanish Association of Sustainability Directors. Furthermore, she also serves as Chair of the IAAPA EMEA Sustainability Committee.
