The software will assist guests during their stay and provide useful insights

Attractions.io, a leading creator of mobile visitor apps, says it is delighted to partner with Butlin’s to launch a new mobile app for its guests at three UK holiday resorts.

The firm’s platform enables businesses to enhance the guest experience with its powerful platform for operators, used by leading venues such as Legoland and San Diego Zoo, whilst providing valuable data to help improve operations and marketing.

Useful before and during visit

The new Butlin’s visitor experience apps are now being utilised by guests who can use the software to pre-book activities before they arrive. Families can plan their dream holiday ahead of time by creating an interactive itinerary that begins on the day of arrival.

The app acts as a personal assistant during guests’ stays, ensuring everything runs smoothly during their visit. Users can easily access directions to their accommodation, planned activities and catering arrangements with a few taps of the screen, along with exclusive offers and upgrades as an added incentive.

“Attractions.io have been incredible to work with throughout the launch process, and the team remains a constant source of support, advice, and guidance now that we are into the operational delivery phase.” says Butlin’s’ digital product manager for apps, Jacqui French.

“Acting as an extension of our digital team, their outcome-focused and consultative approach have enabled us to deliver the exact functionality we need under the tightest of timelines. Working with attractions.io has helped us develop a long-term digital strategy that delivers the highest impact to our guests.”

Looking forward

Head of delivery at Attractions.io, Danielle Bastiaens reports that the app is already providing benefits for guests, adding:

“We are delighted to have been able to support Butlin’s in their aspirations to improve their digital guest experience. Their new mobile apps are already bringing huge benefits to guests, who can now pre-book their activities in advance instead of queuing on arrivals day and enjoy a more relaxed start to their break.

“We are looking forward to working closely with Butlin’s to add even more value for both holidaymakers and resort managers over the next few years.”

Earlier this year it was reported that Butlin’s’ three UK sites, in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness, may be put up for sale by owners Bourne Leisure.

Last month, Attractions.io revealed its partnership with Hunderfossen Eventyrpark in Norway has been extended for another three years following the successful launch of the park’s app.
