Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, has expanded its presence in the German market by signing three new partners from various sectors of the leisure industry.
Convious is assisting each location in future-proofing its business processes by using its all-in-one e-commerce platform. The AI-powered platform equips them with the skills to personalise the passenger experience across the whole journey, from early online interactions through the physical visit and subsequent communications, encouraging return visits.
Managing director for the DACH region, Werner Dullmaier says:
“We are growing extremely quickly across all European territories and Germany is an important market for us. These new partners, who join 40 existing leisure businesses already using Convious in Germany, show the diversity and flexibility of the Convious technological offer.
“Our scalable platform has been designed to meet the needs of both large and small amusement and theme parks as well as zoos and event providers.”
Enhancing the experience
All three leisure organisations have signed multi-year contracts to map their whole digital customer journey in the future and incorporate it into their overall visitor experience.
Freizeitpark Plohn offers more than 80 attractions spread across eight themed worlds, including six roller coasters.
Katja Martin, Freizeitpark Plohn’s head of marketing and sales says:
“For us, Convious is the optimal solution. As a medium-sized family business, we can do a lot ourselves with the platform before, during and after the season and have a partner at our side who not only understands our requirements but can also support us with advice as we continue to grow.”
Natural transition
In 2023, Tripsdrill wildlife and theme park will go live with Convious. Tripsdrill, Germany’s first adventure park, was founded in 1929 and offers adventures for all ages.
Benjamin Fischer, a manager at Erlebnispark Tripsdrill adds:
“Tripsdrill is unique. With over 100 original attractions in the adventure park, pure nature in the associated wildlife paradise and exceptional overnight accommodation in the nature resort, our family-run business offers visitors an incomparable variety.
“Finding software that meets our individual requirements for this diverse offer was not easy. We are delighted to have Convious at our side as a partner who will continue to develop and grow with us.”
Ticketing off-land
Seventh-generation family company Rössler-Linie operates four ships that do castle excursions, cruises to the Loreley, and boat trips on the Rhine in Flames. Private parties and celebrations can also be held on the vessels.
Rössler-Linie MD Bianka Rössler says: “Event shipping is a comparatively small industry. With Convious, we have found software that has everything we need, including an online shop and booking software. It is so adaptable that we can also map unique processes without any problems.”
Tim Olsteiner and Alexander Schulte, both Convious DACH region business development managers, were in charge of the new partners and were confident straight away that they had the correct answer for these leisure companies:
“We are already looking forward to further developing digital ticketing and e-commerce together with the new partners in order to offer our partners’ guests an even better visitor experience.”
Convious has also recently hosted a webinar which looks at the progression of the economy and its likely effects on the attractions industry.
