Gateway Ticketing Systems celebrates successful customer Galaxy 8 launches

News
Gateway Galaxy 8

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced that several customers have successfully upgraded to Galaxy 8, the company’s most advanced ticketing and guest experience platform to date.

These early users are already experiencing significant operational advantages, including more efficient workflows, faster transactions, and immediate data insights.

“The biggest indicator for me has been that we don’t have a single reported issue that can be attributed to Galaxy 8,” says Luis Almonte, executive director of Discovery Cube Los Angeles.

“Within one week, we had everything on-site upgraded, and two weeks later, our webstore was fully upgraded as well. It was probably one of our smoothest upgrades in the 19 years we’ve been with Gateway.”

Empowering clients

The Galaxy 8 features a contemporary, cloud-native, user-friendly interface. This allows attractions to meet increasing guest expectations and effectively expand their operations.

“Galaxy 8 represents the next chapter in our commitment to innovation and partnership,” says Michael Andre, president and CEO of Gateway Ticketing Systems.

“We built this platform not only to modernize ticketing operations, but to empower our customers to grow, adapt, and elevate the guest experience in meaningful ways. Seeing our early adopters thrive is exactly the outcome we hoped for.”

Now that Galaxy 8 is operational in real-world environments, Gateway encourages current customers to begin planning their upgrades and invites potential users to explore how the platform can enhance their operations.

Galaxy 8 represents the next step in ticketing, overcoming legacy system limitations and meeting the evolving demands of guests.

Gateway Ticketing Systems also recently shared how it continues to shape the digital distribution landscape and expand its reach with the award-winning Galaxy Connect platform. With this cloud-based integration, suppliers can sell live, gate-ready tickets through an extensive, international network of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).
