Panasonic Business VF2 series

Panasonic Business, a leading audiovisual technology provider, has announced that its flagship VF2 Series LCD video wall displays are now available in Europe.

Panasonic Business is pleased to announce that, as of this month, its VF2 Series is on sale in Europe.  These displays feature a razor-thin 0.44mm bezel and are ideally suited for a range of applications, including retail, public spaces, control rooms and board rooms. The VF2H and VF2 displays provide almost seamless multiscreen images.

The series delivers an ideal alternative to LED video walls, with sharper images at a closer distance as well as better quality views from side angles. These video wall displays also provide more connectivity choices and have a shallower depth when installed. The reliable solution includes built-in safeguards to ensure 24-hour continuous operation is possible.

Seamless large-format images

The Vf2H/VF2 series reduces the bezel-to-bezel distance to just 0.88 mm, meaning that even close-up, screen borders are nearly invisible. This leads to seamless large-format images. The two 55” frameless D-LED LCD models have luminance ratings of 700 cd/m2 (VH2H model) and 500 cd/m2 (VF2 model).

Both also include anti-glare surfaces to diffuse light and suppress outside reflections, meaning that operators can enjoy clear viewing. This makes them a good choice for both monitoring rooms and public areas.

The multi-screen displays are pre-calibrated, so colour differences are minimised and images are consistently vivid, as well as providing a system that is simple to set up.  Both series automatically correct backlight brightness with Auto Brightness Adjustment, deliver high contrast performance at an efficient power level.

Simple setup

Panasonic’s Vf2H/VF2 series uses Digital Link, meaning that installation and configuration is straightforward.  Digital Link is based on HDBaseT technology and supports audio, video, and control signal transmission over long distances. It can also be used to daisy-chain displays via a single cable, so operators do not need video splitters or other routing devices.

Thanks to the failover and failback safeguards, the system will change to alternative video and audio signals if the main signals are disrupted. Once these recover, the original image will be displayed again, ensuring uninterrupted playback.

“Delivering large-format images that have to be seen to be believed, the VF2 Series combines leading design with reliability and simple installation and configuration,” says Florence Antony, European Marketing Manager for Flat Panel Displays at Panasonic Visual System Solutions.

Maintaining equipment

Panasonic Visual Systems Service is on hand to help its clients maintain their customers equipment during the COVID-19 lockdowns that are taking place in several locations. This means that they can use this time to prepare for an efficient re-start by servicing and maintaining their projectors and displays.

Panasonic Visual Systems Service is offering a new initiative during this time, which includes a webinar with top performance tips, a remote equipment check and a 30% discount on equipment cleaning.

Earlier this year, Panasonic Business announced that it has been working with Best Broadcast Hire, supplying the company with camera systems for leading esports events, such as the FIFA eSuperliga in Copenhagen.
