Attraction & Entertainment Solutions, Inc. (A&ES), the conceptualisation, fabrication, and interactive immersive themed space specialist, is taking a look back at a recent successful project, Peppa Pig Theme Park at LEGOLAND Florida, which has now been open to the public for one year.
Merlin’s new attraction in Winter Haven, adjacent to LEGOLAND Florida, is the first theme park dedicated to Peppa and friends. The Peppa Pig Theme Park, which was designed with preschoolers in mind, opened in February 2023. It is a Certified Autism Center (CAC) and also features accessible ride vehicles and attractions. There is a family-friendly coaster experience for children called Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, as well as Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, and Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure.
The ride vehicles for Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride were designed to allow children who use wheelchairs to seamlessly access the ride.
A trusted partner
A&ES is a chosen partner for many of the world’s leading entertainment providers, and it has a strong relationship with Merlin Entertainments. The firm’s dedication to IP integrity is showcased by its extensive work at Peppa Pig Theme Park at LEGOLAND Florida, where it provided full design/build services, from imagination to fabrication and installation.
“Our tireless work and coordination with project key stakeholders ensured proper cooperative efforts on all fronts to help bring this unprecedented project to success,” says Ryan Lomax, project development manager at A&ES.
“A&ES worked hand-in-hand with Merlin Entertainments Project Management and Creative teams to obtain enthusiastic approvals from Hasbro, all while staying true to the unique Peppa Pig IP. We were there from beginning to end!”
One year on, the company says it is excited about the future of this IP and its continued relationship with Merlin Entertainments.
Earlier this year, A&ES unveiled a fresh look, including a brand-new logo and online marketing assets.
