New ship sets sail from Singapore later this year

Disney Cruise Line has unveiled the stern characters for its new Disney Adventure cruise ship, which sets sail from Singapore on 15 December.

For the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, the ship’s stern will feature both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Sorcerer Mickey already appears alone on the stern of the Disney Dream, while Minnie has so far only been on the bow of two ships – the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure.

The Disney Adventure is the first Disney Cruise Line ship for guests in Asia. Highlights include the longest coaster at sea in an immersive Marvel-themed zone.

Across the ship’s seven themed areas, attractions include Duffy and Friends experiences like a new show, character meet-and-greets, a unique retail store, and additional surprises.

More highlights include Toy Story Place, a whimsical water play land designed for families with young children. It offers a large family pool, whirlpools, waterslides and interactive splash pads.

Also, the Big Hero 6-themed San Fransokyo Street features a gaming lounge with an immersive training simulator.

Broadway-style entertainment on the new ship includes two productions – ‘Remember’ and ‘Disney Seas the Adventure’. The former features the robot duo from Wall-E and is exclusive to the Disney Adventure.
