Halloween has returned to Disneyland Paris, with the resort offering eerie encounters, devilish decorations and spine-chilling shows until 6 November.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Disneyland Paris’ Halloween event for this year is bigger and better. It includes two petrifying parties on 29 October and 31 October.
Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios are also home to immersive décor, from new smiling pumpkins and lanterns to grinning ghosts and spooky skeletons. Disney Villains such as Maleficent, Captain Hook and Jafar can be seen across Disneyland Park.
For the first time ever, Halloween is taking place at the resort’s hotels. These have been decorated with garlands, lanterns and giant pumpkins.
New Disney Villains show

Mickey’s Halloween Celebration is returning after a two-year hiatus. During the cavalcade, Disney characters are wearing their most menacing Halloween costumes.
New for this year, Nightfall with Disney Villains is showing before the Disney D-Light drone show and Disney Illuminations.
Disneyland Paris’ retail outlets are selling souvenirs inspired by Disney Villains and Tim Burton‘s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and new sweets and treats available include ‘Maleficent Sundae’, ‘Crunchy Hook’ and ‘Mickey Mummy’.
Cocktails and mocktails available in select bars and restaurants include the ‘Little Devil’, ‘Poisoned Apple’ and ‘Oogie Boogie’.
Halloween at the resort’s hotels

New creations inspired by Marvel are on offer at Skyline Bar at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. These include ‘Dark Red’ and ‘Green Serum’
The spooky season has returned to theme parks across the globe, and with it a host of new Halloween haunts and blood-curdling brands.
New attractions at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights include a collaboration with The Weeknd, a crossover experience of Jordan Peele’s latest films, and a Blumhouse-inspired haunted house.
Elsewhere, horror films such as Halloween Ends, Saw and It have been transformed into location-based entertainment (LBE) experiences.
