Dream Island in Moscow has completed the installation of attractions in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zone. The final ride is a roller coaster called ‘Flight in the Tunnel’.
Flight in the Tunnel is one of the most extreme attractions at the upcoming theme park. The immersive coaster is a high-speed journey through the underground tunnels of New York.
The ride features loops, turns, accelerations and free falls, and reaches heights of 24 metres. The length of the route is more than 500 metres.
Guests will fall into a dead loop at a speed of 80 kilometres per hour, and will experience lighting and sound effects.

Flight in the Tunnel was manufactured by Intamin, the creator of record-breaking amusement rides. It has two trains with 16 seats in each.
Ivan Shol, Technical Director of Dream Island, said visitors “will hide from persecution along with the main characters”.
“At Dream Island, we primarily focus on using the latest trends – such as interactivity, multimedia content, VR technology.
“This will allow guests not only to enjoy the speed, dead loops and technical components of the rides, but also be transported to the fairytale world, where each of us dreamed of visiting in childhood.”

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed area, set to complete in October, will boast three attractions – Hammer of Doom, Flight in the Tunnel, and a drop tower ride.
Set in a replica of New York, the area also includes a ‘Ninjutsu School’, as well as gift shops, Antonio’s Pizzeria, and three fast-food outlets.
Last month, Dream Island confirmed Hammer of Doom had been installed in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zone.
Dream Island will have eight thematic zones with 27 rides, as well as themed restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops.
