South Korea’s tourism agency has just announced its rankings for 2016.

It also boasts a water park.  The park is famed for its location – the attractions blend very attractively into their natural surroundings.

This is the second year in a row that Everland has won the top ranking.  However its visitor numbers were down by 6.2 per cent.  October was apparently the park’s most successful month.

Second place was taken by Gyeongbok Palace in downtown Seoul.  It garnered 6.02 million visitors, a rise of 18.9 per cent from the previous year. The attraction has moved up three places from the previous year.
