Adventure World in Perth has launched the new season with Goliath, a Gyro Swing 32 from innovative ride developer Intamin.
Intamin’s Gyro Swing 32 Goliath is the younger brother of the Gyro Swing 40, which has been a hit as Loke at Liseberg.
The pendulum of Goliath swings through 120 degrees, reaching a top speed of 65 km/h and 27 meters high. 32 passengers feel the sensation of flying in suspended seating all facing outwards. As the pendulum passes through the vertical position, riders experience the thrill of increased G-forces.
Adventure World CEO, Andrew Sharry, said, “We are delighted to launch yet another world-class attraction into Western Australia as we continue to strengthen Adventure World’s place as a must-visit theme park.”
Goliath’s seats and restraints have been designed to guarantee the highest passenger comfort.
Intamin’s Gyro Swing has a new main direct drive design, which delivers enormous power but is almost noiseless. The result is a spectacular ride that is probably the most silent available on the market.
Intamin is proud of having contributed to the success of Adventure World Perth and would like to thank the entire team for the great co-operation.
