Macau Chief Exec Wants a Theme Park to Boost Family Tourism

News

Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On said on Wednesday that a theme park is needed in Macau to boost family tourism.

Macau News reports that Chui made the remarks a day after he delivered his 2017 Policy Address in which he stated that the government will encourage the construction of budget hotels, a theme park and shopping centres, in a bid to develop the city into a hub for tourism and leisure.

Chui said on Wednesday that a theme park was needed in the city, because it would diversify tourism and attract more families.
