Scruffy Dog Creative Group, a leading creative design company, has accepted an invitation to join the OCT Alliance of Planning and Design.
This is an organisation that brings together experts in planning, consulting, architectural and landscape design and currently includes 23 experts and 58 companies from related fields. It was founded by the OCT Group, and members benefit from the priority to take part in the planning and design of the group's various projects.
The Alliance was spearheaded by Sophie Liu, the company's Head of Marketing and Business Development (Asia).
A key area for growth
Joe Bright, Scruffy Dog's CEO, says “Sophie is a key to establishing our relationships in this region. The OCT Group has ranked top 3 among all theme park groups worldwide and top 1 in Asia, therefore it is a privilege to be asked to join the Alliance of Planning and Design”.
The company is already enjoying rapid growth in Asia. For instance, it is leading on the largest indoor theme park in the world, which is expected to open in China in 2024.
“We see Asia as a key area for our business, the growth we are seeing here is exceptional and we are optimistic that this will continue into 2021 and beyond," says Bright.
Scruffy Dog also recently announced that is has worked with the Fladgate Partnership on the World of Wine in Portugal, a new attraction which is home to six immersive museum experiences and nine restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as temporary exhibition space, shops and a wine school. The World of Wine, in the town of Vila Nova de Gaia in the Porto region, is now open to the public.
