Six Flags Magic Mountain’s 20th roller coaster, Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, is set to open on 16 July. The park has released a POV video of its latest thrilling attraction.
Located in Valencia, California, Six Flags Magic Mountain will be home to more coasters than any other theme park in the world when the new ride launches.
“Not only is this a record-breaking single-rail coaster, it brings Six Flags Magic Mountain’s coaster count to an unprecedented twenty, the most in the world,” said Don McCoy, park president.
“Additionally, we are creating a more innovative guest experience by redesigning one of our most popular areas, DC Universe, which will become the home of Wonder Woman Flight of Courage.”
The tallest and longest single-rail coaster in the world is the result of a collaboration between Six Flags, DC and Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment.

Riders travel along 3,300 feet of track, also enjoying an ascent up to a 131-foot lift hill and speeds of up to 58 mph. The coaster offers an 87-degree first drop and three dramatic inversions.
Opened in 1971, Six Flags Magic Mountain offers the tallest, fastest and steepest coasters in the world. It features 100 rides, attractions and games.
Six Flags St. Louis started the summer season with the launch of the DC-themed Catwoman Whip thrill ride. Six Flags Great America also partnered with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and DC on its new DC Universe area.
Earlier this year, Six Flags reported earnings for the first quarter of 2022, revealing that visitor numbers increased by 25 percent compared to the same period last year.
