aquatic development group unveils six new rides at the IAAPA Expo Orlando

Leading creator of waterparks and water attractions, Aquatic Development Group (ADG), launched six new rides at the recent IAAPA Expo in Orlando.

Among them was dual-launch boogie-boarding surf pool, Breaker Beach, which scooped a Brass Ring Award at the event for Best New Product.

Breaker Beach launched early this year at Denver’s Water World Waterpark and has proved a hit with would-be surfers miles from the nearest coast. The attraction uses ADG’s WaveTek technology to generate perfect boogie-boarding waves every four seconds.

Twin Tides opened at Splash Cave in Shawnee, Kansas, this September. The dual-entry wave pool doubles capacity compared to conventional single-entry wave pools. Twin Tides is a shallow pool design with 24-inch Diamond Waves and an immediate capacity of 245 users.

Scheduled to open at H2OBX in North Carolina in 2017, Adventure Lagoon is a compact, all-ages activities pool. It features a range of skills-based activities offering something for all  age groups, including water cannons for interactive play.

ADG’s products and services have been used in over 4, 000 aquatic facilities worldwide and the company’s wave generation systems feature in over 90% of wave pools in North America.
